Materials needed:
~ Pretzel rods
~ Chocolate chips (use whatever you'd like to!)
~ Sprinkles, crushed candy, any additional toppings
~ Gold dust (optional)
~ Lemon extract (optional)
~ Paint brush (optional)
Step 1
Melt chocolate according to the packaging. Coat the pretzel rods with the selected chocolate. You can do this by dipping the rod into the chocolate or taking the chocolate with a spoon and placing it on top of the pretzel. Make sure to let excess chocolate drip before transferring it to parchment paper.
Step 2
Once your pretzel is coated with chocolate, add any toppings you want. If you are adding gold dust, make sure that the chocolate is completely dried and hardened before doing so.
Step 3 (optional)
Once your chocolate is hardened, mix a couple drops of lemon extract with a pinch of the gold dust. Use the paint brush to add the gold dust mixture onto the pretzel rod.
Let the chocolate dry before serving.
