Pies, pies, pies... that's all I'm thinking about this holiday season! Have you tried any of the lemon pies before? SO good, sweet, and tart! This cookie was inspired by lemon pie and is by far one of the easiest cookies to decorate.
Materials needed:
~ Baked sugar cookies
~ Royal Icing
~ Gel food coloring
~ yellow
~ Scribe
~ Round and star piping tip
~ Piping bags
~ Piping coupler
The yellow royal icing should be mixed to medium consistency. The white royal icing should be stiff consistency.
Step 1
Make sure your baked cookie is completely cooled before adding any royal icing.
Step 2
Using a round tip, flood the cookie with yellow royal icing. Allow to harden.
Step 3
With the star tip, add a swirl right in the middle of the pie cookie. Don't forget to add piped stars to the edge for the whip cream!
